Cabarets and Special Events

San Diego County's

BIGGEST little theater!

On this page you will find SPECIAL EVENTS going on at the Broadway Theater.  From Talents Shows, lectures, One night only events, and Cabaret Shows.  We always have SOMETHING going on at the Broadway Theater.

7 - All acts can be no longer than 5 minutes in length.

8- Everyone performing in the show will be required to pay a $35.00 participation fee.  This fee is to cover the cost of insuring the participant while they are with us at the theater.  So if your act has 3 performers, each performer will be required to pay the $35.00 fee.

9 - All participants will be required to sell 5 tickets to the show, you may sell up to ten - but you must sell your required 5.  Tickets are $8.00 a piece.  Again, if there are three people performing in your act, all three performers are required to purchase 5 tickets.  If we find that we will have extra seats open for your show, we will let all the participants know and they can purchase the extra tickets.

10 - HOW DO I SIGN UP so my Grandma visiting from Pennsylvania can FINALLY see me ONSTAGE?

Simply fill out the form below and click SUBMIT at the bottom.  Mr. Randy will call you within 24 hours and get some additional information from you and set up your Performance Preview on either the 21st, 22nd or 23rd.  We are very excited about this newest venture and hope to make it an bi-annual tradition.  We will be doing this again in the Summer of 2023.

Tell me More about BROADWAY:  CENTER STAGE

We are looking for kids and teens between the ages of 7 and 17 years to share their talents during Thanksgiving Weekend.  Here are ten things you will need to know before you set up a Performance Preview with us.  More on the Performance Preview can be found below.

1 - Ages 7 to 17 can participate

2 - Performers can sing, dance, play a musical instrument, do a comedy routine, etc.  Each act can have up to three people in it.  Three friends singing, dancing, etc.  The act must be audience friendly for all ages.

3 - Everyone gets to perform in two shows and you get to pick your performance dates and times.  The dates and times we have open are: Saturday, November 26th at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. or Sunday November 26th at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m.  The more kids that sign up - the more show times we will add on these two days.  So, make sure you are available anytime the 26th & 27th because if a time slot you want fills up you will need to make another choice.

4 - 5 to 10 acts will get to perform at each one hour show.

5 - Mr. Randy, (Owner of the Broadway Theater) will be Master of Ceremonies. Before each act performs he will give the audience an interesting fact about your selection. For example, if you do a song from a Broadway Musical Mr. Randy will find out something about the show your song is from, online, and tell the audience about it.  He will then introduce your number and you perform.

6 - Once you have chosen what you are going to do for the show you will need to set up a time during Thanksgiving week - the 21st, 22nd or 23rd - to come to the Broadway Theater - with a parent - and do a Performance Preview for Mr. Randy and Mr. Doug.  We are in Thanksgiving Break Camp all week, so anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on the three days listed above will work just fine.  If more than one person is performing in the act the parent of EACH PEFORMER will need to accompany their child.
