John Dale, a self proclaimed bachelor and prominent businessman, is tired of being alone for the holidays - so he decides to rent  Christmas - complete with wife and family. After some trepidation, Anne, owner of the 'we rent anything' shop accepts the challenge.  When two of the actors she hires comes down with the measles,she turns to the local orphanage for the children and Anne steps in at the last minute to play the Mother role herself.

Randall Hickman and Douglas will be joined on stage, at the Broadway Theater, by a host of San Diego performers for this  holiday musical review.  We are looking for singers, dancers, musicians of all ages 7 to 100 years.  Do you play a mean holiday hit on an instrument?  We want to hear from you!  Do you have a fantastic acapella combo that wants to audition?  We want to hear from you!  Do you have a solo, duet or group dance that you love performing?  We want to hear from you!

We are looking to put together of evening of holiday 'love' that celebrates the music from 'the most wonderful time of the year.

REHEARSAL DATES:  Flexible.  Since all the acts auditioning will be doing their 'own thing'. 

The Director, Randall Hickman, will meet with each act sperately 2 or 3 times during November and December.  He will work around the performers schedule.  The ENTIRE CAST will rehearse together on Monday, December 18th between the hours of noon and 10 p.m. - again, you show up when you can throughout the day.  The purpose of everyone meeting on Monday the 18th is so we can set the lights for your act.  You will also be given a copy of the performance order before we open the show the following night.

PAY FOR ADULTS:  There is no pay.  All ADULT performers will receive 3 FREE tickets to the show, ($75.00 value), as well a complimentary lunch between shows on the 23rd and 24th

PAY FOR KIDS AND TEENS:  There is no pay.  An insurance fee of $75.00 must be paid for all cast members under the age of 18.  All YOUTH performers will receive 2 FREE tickets to the show, ($50.00 value), as well a complimentary lunch between shows on the 23rd and 24th

PLAYING DATES: December 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:  All auditioners must come to the audition with the intention of performing the act they plan on doing for the show.  DO NOT come to the audition and sing something and then tell us, 'This isn't the song I will be doing', because you won't be cast.  Come prepared to perform what you are going to do for the show.  5 minute time limit.  Show up ANYTIME between the audition hours listed above.  NO UNION PERFORMERS WILL BE CAST.
